Lilly Garbrick Art
About

Statement
I enjoy making art about the emotions, experiences and environments in my life. I most enjoy creating art that includes people and animals.
Observation and documentation is a large part of my creative process. Wherever I am, I’m thinking about images, objects and people that could become part of my artwork. I often take pictures that I later paint in my home studio. This is where most of my work comes from - inspirations taken from my real life.
I create art using a variety of mediums including ceramics, mixed media sculptural work, as well as paintings and drawings. Through this variety I am able to create a more compelling and diverse portfolio.
